More than just a networking event, this endeavour hopes to engender real empathy from those for whom homelessness is often so far from mind. Beginning as a local community venture in Parramatta in 2006, the Sleepout has now grown to become an annual event that raises upwards of $5,000,000 for charities dealing with this ever worsening issue.
