Sam founded Southern Cross in 2005 after identifying a need for competitive, customer-focused security in the industry. Prior to this had held progressively senior roles within some of Australia’s largest security companies. Having been recognised as the WSABE Young Entrepreneur of 2014, Sam continues to lead the company with pride and confidence. Sam Johnson established the Southern Cross Group (SCG) business in 2005 with four team members in Sydney. The business has undergone a remarkable transformation since its humble beginnings to become one of Australia’s leading providers of integrated service solutions employing staff in Australia and overseas to support our business growth. Sam continues to inspire the Management team and staff at Southern Cross Group and has gained respect from the business community. Sam has over 10 years senior management experience in integrated service delivery, allowing him to develop and maintain excellent client relationships. Sam holds formal education in business management and risk management. As founder and CEO of Southern Cross Group, Sam has rapidly expanded his business, quickly becoming a major player in the industry. Sam has established a highly recognised organisation that holds a competitive stance among other provider in regard to service delivery, capability, expertise and cost. With experience in legal awareness, Sam has proven himself an excellent leader for the ever-growing company.

Sam’s diverse experience has granted him an advanced level of insight in relation to the most up to date technologies and market trends, and a comprehensive understanding of what is required on-site from service personnel. Sam has been awarded the 2014 North West Sydney Business Awards under the category The Young Entrepreneur. This award recognises an inspirational young person who, through their own commitment and passion, has built and operates a successful business.

Lin Meng

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Lin Meng Chief Financial Officer

Graduating from the University of Sydney with a Masters of Commerce, Accounting and Finance, Lin possesses comprehensive knowledge of Taxation, Financial Reporting and Management Reporting. She has provided expert financial advice to the security and soft service industry for over 10 years. With Lin’s extensive knowledge and experience, she continues to help lead Southern Cross Group to continuing success.

Harry Hussain

NATIONAL SECURITY MANAGER

Harry Hussain National Security Manager

Harry is an accomplished and experienced professional with a diverse background in security management, leadership, and customer service. With a strong belief in excellence and a commitment to achieving outstanding results, Harry has thrived in his roles within the Southern Cross Group Services.

Having traveled extensively, Harry has developed a global perspective and a unique ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and roles. He is a true people person, skilled in building and maintaining genuine professional relationships. Harry's dedication and self-motivation have enabled him to create opportunities for his team's success while consistently delivering positive outcomes.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Harry holds a Master's degree in Commerce (Marketing) and a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Wollongong. He also possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Honors) and has completed certification courses in A+ Hardware & O/S and Network+. His dedication to excellence, self-motivation, and global perspective set him apart as a standout professional in the security industry.

Yasheel Jadala

NATIONAL TRAFFIC MANAGER

Yasheel Jadala National Traffic Manager

Yasheel is the National Traffic Manager for Southern Cross Group, he oversees all traffic management requirements nationally. Graduating from the Central Queensland University with a Master of Information Technology, Yasheel brings a wealth of knowledge backed by almost 10 years in the traffic management industry. His ability to work to strict deadlines, together with the ability to build strong relationships with customers our clients can be assured of high standard of service. Yasheel’s passion, drive and a strong belief in exceptional customer service ensures Southern Cross Traffic flourishes under his leadership.

Anto Tuka

CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER

Anto Tuka Chief Commercial Officer

Anto has over 10 years of experience across the construction and facilities maintenance sectors. Working within a number of large and boutique organisations, Anto understands the individual nuances of different business environments and specialises in delivering tailored engagement packages to each new and existing client. Across his career, Anto has developed a strong capability in estimating, tendering, relationship management and project management.

Anto holds formal qualifications through a Bachelor of Advanced Business Leadership from Western Sydney University.

In his role as Chief Commercial Officer, Anto is involved with guiding the overall strategy of Southern Cross Group Services and Baymon Group as well as being a primary point of contact for existing clients and new client partnership opportunities.
