Course Description : The CPP40707 Certificate IV in Security & Risk Management

The focus of the program is the development and monitoring of Security Risk Assessments. Certificate IV is about doing threat, risk and asset assessments autonomously on behalf of a corporation, entity or government department. Work as a security risk assessor is varied, interesting and challenging. Participants will gain a theoretical knowledge and understanding of the practical application of security risk assessment process. Course participants will gain further insight into security risk assessment requirements by participating in exercises and the practical application of knowledge and skills gained during the course.

Participants in this program will gain practical skills and strategies to effectively and independently conduct security risk assessments on behalf of corporations, banks, clubs, casinos, retail chains, transport companies, defence, security firms, charities, emergency services, non- profits or local, state and federal government.

A qualified assessor will support you on a regular basis, to coach and assess learning. The coach will also be available to communicate with participants via phone, email or any other form of communication that suits the participant.
